E. Christopher Cornell has been wowing crowds with his colorful prose for the past fifteen years. Poet, Educator, and renowned Event Host, Cornell delivers high-energy performances that leave listeners on the edge of their seats.

A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Cornell got his start in promoting and hosting events during his college days as Student Government President. After college, he founded E Period, LLC, which specializes in special events and marketing campaigns. E. Period provides top-notch entertainment to colleges, universities, churches, community centers, festivals, conventions, and more.

In addition to planning events, Chris Cornell is a widely sought after host of local and international events including Hollalujah: A Clean Comedy Experience (Atlanta), Urban Hangover (Las Vegas/Puerto Rico), Sky Lounge (Atlanta), Wednesday Wind Down (Atlanta).

Chris Cornell has earned numerous accolades including features in the L.A. Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Rolling Out, as well as numerous radio and television interviews. Cornell also appeared on MTV with Grammy Award-winning rap group, OutKast, and was featured on Robert Townsend’s “Spoken”, as well as BET’s Lyric Café.

Ever a community servant, Cornell is also a former Public Speaking Instructor at Spelman College, and a Business Communications Instructor at Year Up Atlanta, a workforce development program for young adults. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. As Chris Cornell continues to build his career and serve his community, he leans on his faith and family to motivate him. His mantra is, “If you accomplish everything that you set out to do in this life, you did not aim your goals high enough.”
